Code of Conduct for Suomi Officials
1. "Suomi Officials" are defined as the Suomi Burgess, Suomi Troupe, and Suomi Culture Advocate positions.
2. Suomi Officials have certain expectations they are required to meet, so long as the Aisling holds the title, legend, and/or powers of a Suomi Official. Failure to meet one or more of these expectations allows for a Suomi Troupe or Burgess to propose a vote of "no confidence," requesting the Suomi Official step down or be removed.
3. Expectations of Suomi Officials
I. Admittance of Citizens. Suomi Officials may admit citizens in accordance with the most current rules and guidelines on admission. Suomi Officials should, in questionable cases, make sure to document anything they feel necessary in order to vouch for the citizen in question.
II. Banishment of Suomi guests. Suomi Officials may banish Aislings who are in Suomi for disruptive behavior, harassment, heresy, and other damaging activities. It is the responsibility of the banishing official to document the crimes of the accused thoroughly, ((preferably through screenshots and/or video capture.))
III. Administering legend marks. Suomi Officials may administer legend marks for event rewards, Suomi Culture Advocacy, event coordination, as well as possible future awards. It is the responsibility of the official administering these legend marks to ensure that they are properly applied; The Aisling needs to earn event rewards through attending events, and advocates and coordinators need to earn these titles by going through whatever current process is required to obtain them.
IV. Administering prizes. Suomi Officials occasionally receive prizes in the form of gold, rare items, and/or randomized bags. These items are to be administered properly to event patrons. Bags should not be opened, except by prize recipients. Unused prizes and/or event materials should be returned to event organizers unless otherwise specified.
V. Public Conduct. Suomi Officials are expected to be examples of leadership for the community. Officials should not engage in harassment, verbal abuse, event disruption, or other mundane mandate ((Terms of Service)) violations. Officials should also refrain from using heresy in public ((either by altering the intended text to fit Dark Ages theme, or using double parenthesis to indicate Out Of Character speech. Extended OOC conversations should only be done out of uniform, and ideally in guild/group/whisper or private areas.))
VI. Use & Abuse of Power. Suomi Officials are expected to use the power and privilege given to them only to further Suomi culture. Suomi Officials should not add or remove Advocates, Troupe Members, or Burgesses without due process and input from other Suomi Officials. ((Suomi Officials should also refrain from tampering with out of game forum and chat service permissions of other officials unless providing access as necessary.))
4. Votes of No Confidence
I. Should a Suomi Official fail to meet the expectations of office, any member of the Suomi Troupe, or Suomi Burgess, may propose a vote of "no confidence." ((This proposal should be written on the Suomi Troupe in-game board, as well as any out of game forums or chat services currently in use. The proposal should include the perceived failures in expectation, as well as any and all applicable evidence.))
II. The proposal should be dated, and should be open for discussion and voting for a period of at least four and a half moons ((31 days. Votes should be posted in-game for KRU's ease of access.))
III. Should a proposal have unanimous (100%) approval after the allotted time period, the proposal succeeds and Suomi expects the Official to step down voluntarily. In situations where the Aisling refuses to remove themselves, and the Suomi Burgess is unable to remove the Aisling, the mundanes ((KRU)) will be contacted in reference to the vote.
IV. The proposal may be ended voluntarily, and the vote dropped, by the proposing official at any point during the process. To do so, the official needs to post to all applicable boards ((and chat services)) indicating this. Another Suomi Official may make another proposal if they choose.
V. If there is no evidence of failure to meet expectations, or the evidence is found to be fraudulent, or the evidence provided does not apply to the charges presented, or other circumstances make the evidence invalid; The vote is null, and the proposal must be immediately closed.
Code of Conduct for Honorary Suomi Officials
1. "Honorary Suomi Officials" are defined as the equivalents of Suomi Officials, missing the legend, title, and/or powers of a Suomi Official, but still having earned the position through mundane ((KRU)) appointment or Troupe processes.
2. Honorary Suomi Officials have certain expectations they are required to meet, so long as the Aisling is considered an Honorary Suomi Official. Failure to meet one or more of these expectations allows for a Suomi Troupe or Burgess (or honorary Troupe/Burgess) to propose a vote of "no confidence," requesting the Honorary Suomi Official step down or be removed.
3. Exceptions of Honorary Suomi Officials.
Honorary Suomi Officials are granted the same privileges as regular Suomi Officials where available (such as attending meetings, hosting events, or access to out of game forums or chat services currently in use with the same permissions as the equivalent Suomi Official position), and will be required to meet the same expectations where applicable. Due to insufficient in-game privileges, exceptions include:
I. An Honorary Official will not have their legend marked, and will be unable to participate in actions requiring it.
II. Honorary Officials will not be able to perform actions granted by the official tools including, but not limited to: Admittance of citizens, Banishment of guests, and Administering legend marks.
